About Pastor Eric & First Lady Gwen Gillette

Pastor Eric and Lady Gwen are both native San Franciscans. Allthough they are now residing about 50 miles North- East of San Francisco it is very evident that when it comes to ministry The Gillette’s have truly left their hearts in San Francisco.

Ministry for The Gillette’s stems all the way back to the late 70’s when it was very common for them to preach and evangelize on the streets of San Francisco.

Since then after marriage, 5 children, several Grandchildren and many changes; God has given them the great responsibility of pastoring and pioneering in the very city they grew up in.

1993 is the year The Gillette’s stepped into the Pastoral ministry at Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church; succeeding the late Reverend Samuel Morris who was the father of Lady Gwen. This was the beginning of a new move of God in San Francisco, but little did they know that the Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church would in a few years become Valley Christian Fellowship of San Francisco.

In the year 2001 (8 years into the ministry) God truly gave them a new beginning; for this was the birth of VCF.

With their continual focus on winning souls for Christ, The Gillette’s continue to build a multifaceted ministry by the leading of the Holy Spirit that will greatly impact this generation and many to come as they Practice, Promote, Produce and Populate the Kingdom of God.
